The Feud from Randle McCoy's Perspective

This feud is not my fault!  My family and I were trying to live in peace but we never could because of those stupid Hatfields!  First, Devil Anse unlawfully won my cousin Perry Cline's land.  Then, Floyd Hatfield stole my hog!  Can you believe it?!  I took Floyd to court, but he ended up cheating the system and he got acquitted.  Next, Johnse Hatfield took advantage of my sweet daugther Roseanna.  He ditched my daughter and left her alone to deal with the loss of losing my granddaughter.  After that, Devil Anse and his men killed three of my sons.  I tried my best to get those men convicted of killing my sons!  For some reason this made Devil Anse mad and he decided to attack my homestead.  This time he killed two more of my children and he injured my wife.  I did not get justice until September of 1888 when Devil Anse and his men were sentenced to life in jail.  I thought the day was never going to come.  However, I do not think that this is enough punishment.  They should have to suffer like my family and I have.  He is the reason that five of my children are dead.  Those dang Hatfields caused a lot of grief and suffering to go on in the McCoy family!
